It is the mission of the South Philadelphia Community Fund, stewarded by Diversified Community Services and United Communities Southeast Philadelphia to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by supporting families. Many families are facing financial hardship in our community, some for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Diversified Community Services and United Communities along with various partner organizations, are providing a one-stop-shop for benefits to help families. The South Philadelphia Community Fund will serve clients in person and online providing access to benefits including housing counseling, educational workshops, direct assistance, expungement and pardon services throughout 2021.

SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
MEDICAID: Free State medical assistance that pays for health care services for eligible individuals.
MEDICARE EXTRA HELP/PACE/PACENET: Prescription cost assistance.
